Noah Lowry’s option will not be picked up by Giants

Starting pitcher Noah Lowry’s $6.25M option is not going to be picked up by the San Francisco Giants. According to Rotoworld.com, Lowry will be removed from the Giant’s 40 man roster. Lowry has not pitched since the 2007 season because of elbow/forearm issues that Lowry believed was misdiagnosed by the Giants. The Giant’s 2010 rotation looks like: Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Barry Zito and Jonathan Sanchez. The Giants will be looking for a 5th starter with a possibility of Madison Bumgarner filling that spot.
